Companion Electronic Book (E-book) Social Studies as a digital teaching material, is a 21st century learning model, which is integrated with the local wisdom values of Nggusu Waru to develop students' social emotional character. The importance of instillinglocal wisdom values through social studies learning as a role model or guideline for students, in facing various dynamics of social life in the post-modern era. In this context, it is in accordance with the government's mission in realizing 21st century learning that has an impact on the development of superior human resources. Thus, through the Independent Curriculum policy, students are encouraged to be able to improve their competence through 6 skills abbreviated as 6 C including: critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication, computational thinking and civic literacy.
The book in front of the reader is designed as a digital social studies teaching material, which is designed according to the needs of students and teachers in the 21st century. The learning design in strengthening students' social emotional character education based on local Nggusu Waru values can inspire across generations living in the digital era.
